Time for the tea-themed Christmas tree!

After going with a turquoise tea-themed tabletop Christmas tree last year, I decided I liked my little pink one better, even if all the ornaments don't quite fit on it anymore.

I had some help this weekend in the form of my 9-year-old niece Amelia, who was spending the night with me and eagerly agreed to help put up the little tree.

These glass teapot ornaments came from Kmart several years ago, purchased thanks to a shopping alert from a thoughtful tea friend.

Hanging near the bottom is a recent addition you've seen here before. So pretty!

And the tabletop tree is actually atop a writing desk now, so there was a little more "tabletop" to cover, and I enjoyed using some things that are meaningful to me: a hat from the Senoia Area Historical Society tea I attended over the summer, a teacup and teapot that were gifts from a dear tea friend. How many of you are decorating with a tea theme this Christmas?

  1. I put up my first tea -themed tree this year! Last year after Christmas I bought a 4foot tree on sale, and packed up the tea themed ornaments I've collected for a while, in their own box so I could find them easily this year. I love your pink tree but I'm pretty happy with my green one, too!

  2. Your "tea tree" is so pretty, Angela. I hope I'll get around to putting mine up this year.

  3. Very pretty Angela, you have an extensive collection of tea things for this tree.
I just purchased a metal ornament hanger at Royal Doulton to hang my few miniature tea things. Guess I'll be on the hunt for more to fill it!

  4. Love your tea-themed Christmas tree, and Amelia is adorable! I probably won't get my tree up until next week. I'm really behind this year with the renovation project.

  5. Love your pink tea-themed Christmas tree and little Amelia is absolutely adorable. It is so nice you had a little helper to enjoy decorating for the holiday season. Some day I hope to have a tea tree too - but this year we have Santa-themed trees with two little loves around they enjoy it very much!

  6. Very nice tree! Haven't found any new tea-related ornaments at the stores, but my trolling of thrift stores finally paid off and I scored some vintage tea ornaments.

  9. I love your pink tree. How fun to have help. No tea tree this year, just no room. I put a couple of my favorite ornaments on my main tree.
