A Good Friday to all!

As I shared yesterday, I've collected quite a few tea-themed Easter postcards over the years, but this old advertising label from the Great Overland and Pacific Tea Co. is my favorite Easter image because of the cross, so central to the Easter message for those of us who believe in Christ. Wishing you all a very Good Friday and a blessed Easter weekend!

  5. That's a beautiful design on the advertisement, I can see why you're drawn to it, Angela. Seems like there aren't too many cards (or tea cups, tea pots for that matter), that have a dark background. I think the dark backgrounds really set it off!

I always love the look of Wedgewood's 'Runnymeade Navy blue' pattern: though it is a white bone China tea cup, the trim has a dark navy with bright flowers on it, very dramatic! Have a nice holiday, Joanie
