My mom found this cute little teacup-shaped tack board for me ages ago at some yard sale, and I finally got around to hanging it in my craft/sewing room last night. I can't remember if she said it was a quarter or a dollar, but at any rate I remember being very proud of the great bargain she got. I continue to be amazed at all the items that have been made in a teacup or teapot shape. (I also think any of you who are woodworkers could cut out lightweight wood in a shape similar to this one, pad it, cover it with fabric, and have a teacup tackboard of your own.)

So far, the new tack board looks so nice and tidy, all I've added are a couple of cute notecards from friends. If you have one of these type tack boards in your craft room, what do you have on it? Inquiring minds want to know!
Good morning Angela,
ReplyDeleteWhen I use to have a sewing/ craft room I had a note board as well- (not nearly as cute as that teapot though. I use to keep notes of ideas for things "to do" someday on mine and also words of encouragement or thank you notes for those that I sewed for. Sorry to say in this home I don't have a sewing room- but I'll be converting a bedroom soon!
That is the cutest tack board. Mine is blue and white toile and is a plain rectangular shape. Right now it holds an assortment of handmade cards and tags, a silver teapot ornament and a red hat clip.
ReplyDeleteWow! That's great!
ReplyDeleteI love your teacup-shaped tack board! What a bargain!
ReplyDeleteI can only wish I had a craft room. Must wait for my last child to move out then it's party time in the spare room. lol
