Harney & Sons Celebration Tea

Talk about fast! I ordered a tin of Harney's Celebration Tea on Friday, and it arrived on Monday! Now that's service!

Although I've tried their other holiday blends, I had not tried this one and was curious to find out what it was like. The website says, "Based on traditional English flavors, this irresistible blend of black tea, apricot, hazelnut, cinnamon, and beautiful cornflowers is perfect for gatherings of friends and families." I love that you can even see the blue cornflowers through the silken tea bags.

This tea was a nice change from the spicy fall teas as well as the peppermint teas I've started breaking out for December. This was subtly spicy and subtly fruity and subtly nutty, all in all a very sophisticated, satisfying flavor. I believe this may be my favorite Harney Christmas tea yet! Have you tried this one? If so, what did you think?

  1. I love the tin! I did try the tea, and this one just diesn't really appeal to me, there are other Harney's teas I love, but this one isn't "me." So far, my very favorite Christmas tea is Republic of Tea's Downton Abbey Christmas Tea. Just smelling it makes me smile! A friend gave me some and I have bought several more canisters of it.

  2. Ah - a nice gift for our Jewish friends who have Hannukah right around the corner, too.

Now I don't care for mint tea, so I think I may have to give this one a try. I am about citrus spiced out myself. Thanks - as always- for your recommendation. Harney Tea is probably my favorite tea company, to be honest. I have tried more of their teas than any one company. Have a blessed (and wonderful sipping) Advent Season, dear friend.♥

Have you thought about accepting advertising on your blog? Seems like you really should be getting commission on your recommendations, Angela. Seriously.

  3. I have just started seeing these teas for sale at Target Stores in our area. I have only tried the Pumpkin Spice and I truly enjoyed it. Love the tins that they come in and will keep them for display afterwards.
