Fit to be tied

When I went to the mailbox on Saturday, you might say I was fit to be tied when I saw an unexpected package waiting inside. It was a gift from my friend Sandra, who found something she wanted to share!

I recognized the "Celebrate It" line of ribbons as ones carried by Michaels, but this design is certainly new to me. I don't usually look at the ribbons, though, and I'm certainly glad my friend did!

Possible uses: Tie a pretty bow on a cellophane bag containing a cookie or other teatime treat. Use as a bookmark (I'm doing this with mine already). Use in scrapbooking or cardmaking—but only on cards going to fellow tea lovers who will appreciate this fabulous new ribbon!

  1. love the ribbon. (big sigh- now I have to go back to Michaels later this week). I really like the idea of using it on treat bags. Maybe an assortment of teas in a cellophane bag.
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I figured the ribbon was from Michael's as soon as I saw them. I have so much of it now for card making, I never think to look anymore.

  7. Those are SOOO cute! Sighing here, too, because I was just at a Michaels last Friday and didn't think to look at ribbon. I did finally find the teacup scrapbook paper, though, after checking at a couple of other stores that didn't have it. (and all of them are over an hour away from my home!) Next trip out, I will look for the ribbon. :-)

  13. Now I went to Michael's yesterday and couldn't find these ribbons, but I did find a red ribbon with teacups that said Keep Calm and Carry On. Had to have that one.
