It's time to look for teatime ornaments

Tea friend Janet in Texas sent a helpful alert letting me know some teatime Christmas goodies have arrived at Cracker Barrel, so off to Cracker Barrel I went. (Bonus: My husband treated me to "breakfast for supper," so I'm doubly thankful for that alert!) Indeed Christmas is much in evidence there, from the cute Christmas cupcake teapots, which I'm still pondering, to the Christmas teapot and teacup ornaments, which required only slight pondering.

These are slightly different from the cardinal designs of such ornaments Cracker Barrel has had in past years. Here's the cute little teapot ...

... and here's the cute little teacup. And at just $2.99 each for the diminutive delights, these won't break the bank or the Christmas tree either one!

  1. A great find for your Tea Theme Tree! Our Ohio state bird is the cardinal, so these would be nice for my little tree too.
    Thanks for sharing your find.

  4. We really need to get Cracker Barrel into Canada! Yummy food and always neat things in the store area as you've shown today. I have cardinal knick knacks in my kitchen, they'd be a nice addition.
Our daughter's MIL lives in Michigan, I'll contact her to see if they have a CB there.

  5. Oh! I'll *definitely* be picking some of these up -- I didn't see them in our Cracker Barrel when I was in there last week -- must be new! And how can I resist? Two of my favorite things...tea and cardinals!! :)

  7. So cute, Angela! I love Cracker Barrel for both their food and their gift store.

Speaking of Cardinals - Tara McConnell with Temptations Cookware (on QVC) has the cutest set of mini bakers (4 to a set) decorated with ivy and Cardinals - there's even a cardinal on the top of the lid!
    They are adorable! Joanie

  10. There you go again, tempting me. But alas, no Cracker Barrel anywhere in Oregon. Whew! They are very cute and I will just enjoy seeing yours. Love the cardinals!

  11. Cute ornaments. But it's too early for Christmas. :-) The stores seem to put Christmas things out earlier and earlier.

  15. Well, I stopped at the CB in Canton, GA, on Monday and the had a few Christmas things out but not many ornaments and not these! I will stop again on Friday as I head home. It is on the way...Oh, and the Michael's there didn't have the teacup ribbon, either. Just a coffee cup one. I will check again there, too!
