Valentine's Week Giveaway #4

Are any crafters reading the blog today? If so, I hope you'll be interested in these adorable buttons I recently came across at Tuesday Morning! I would have probably bought all they had, but alas, all I found was this one package.

Note the pretty floral teacups on some of these buttons. These could be used for cardmaking, for sewing projects, for replacing buttons on a blouse, for jewelry crafting … for whatever you like! If you'd like to win the buttons, just leave an "Enter me" comment to this post before 7 a.m. EST tomorrow, February 12 (making sure I have a way to contact you if you're the winner), and you'll be entered to win.

The vintage valentine I'm sharing today has sort of a sixties/seventies vibe to me, which is the appropriate time period for when I would have actually been sending valentines. (How curious, then, that I usually collect the ones that are older than I am!) But what I loved about this one is that it came with one of those tiny little vertical envelopes. Oh, the memories!

  14. hello, Angela - so here it is, Day Four: shut the front door,

It's Angela's Annual 'Tea with Friends' Valentine Celebration!

    A chance to rem-in-isce,

A chance to think of your Sweetheart's kiss,

    Will you be my Valentine?

What makes it so much fun -

    all the remembering,

    all the very 'first loves,'

    where are they now?

I think of Jerome from fifth grade and the library club, what fond remembrances!

Thanks, Angela for 'Tea with Friends,' yes, please enter my name for a chance to win those gorgeous buttons! Have a great week, Joanie

  15. I know I missed the drawing, but those buttons are just too cute! I've had a love affair with buttons since I was a small child. My grandmother had a big jar of buttons, and that's what I often played with when I was at her house, which was every day for many years. There's a new Tuesday Morning store that should be opening soon in Huntsville. I'll have to go see if by chance they too have some of these lovely buttons. Thanks so much for sharing your finds and for all the lovely Valentine things that you've been posting. I enjoy them all.
