"To Selma, Love from Albert." Hmmm. Don't you wonder if ol' Albert got the girl? I do! At any rate, I loved finding this vintage Valentine in the shape of a teacup with a band of hearts. Sweet!
Something else I think is sweet? Rachel Ashwell's new line of "Treasures by Shabby Chic" products that debuted at Michaels last month. That's why today I'm giving away nail files, sticky notes, a memo pad and notecards from this lovely line of products!
This is my only giveaway this week that isn't particularly tea-ish, but I have yet to meet a tea lover who doesn't care for roses. If you'd like to win this giveaway, just leave a comment by 7 a.m. EST tomorrow and/or answer this question: What's your favorite color of rose? (Giveaway open to U.S. residents only, please.) Good luck!
I have a soft spot for yellow roses because I spent some of my earliest years in El Paso, Texas.
ReplyDelete"She's the sweetest little rosebud that Texas ever knew,
Her eyes are bright as diamonds, they sparkle like the dew;
You may talk about your Clementine, and sing of Rosalee,
But the yellow rose of Texas is the only girl for me."
Pink Roses have ALWAYS been my favorite!!!! Thanks for sharing all this with us this Valentine's Week.
ReplyDeleteEven though my Tennessee home is a long way from Texas, I agree with Cynda -- yellow roses are my favorite. Today's treat is so pretty, Angela. Thanks again for making the week such fun! B-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute Valentine card and the "Treasures by Shabby Chic" products are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved salmon colored roses, especially a darker shade.
I too spied some of those items at Michael's and purchased a few. Cute giveaway.
ReplyDeleteLove the vintage card. Don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it.

Hello Angela, that's an adorable card and I bet Albert did 'get the girl!'
ReplyDeleteLove all roses but I love pink roses and two-toned pinks the best!
Thanks for this fun week, it brightens the day! Joanie
My sweet husband gave me a beautiful bouquet of baby pink roses with pale green edges that are just gorgeous. I think this is my new favorite color, but I love all roses and have a rose garden that I am so looking forward to wandering in after the long Winter.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love the pretty Rachel Aswell prints! Thanks again for sharing, Angela.
Mary Jane
Used yellow roses in my wedding as they were husband's fraternity flower.
ReplyDeleteI'll take any color rose I can get!!
Red roses are hard to beat! Red is romantic !
ReplyDeleteHi Angela,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveway package you have today. Yellow roses are my favorite with salmon color a close second. Roses would sure be nice here...all ours are sleeping under the 20inches of snow and ice we have.
Love the valentine too.
I haven't seen these but I don't have a Michael's nearby. they are beautiful! I'd love to win them.
ReplyDeleteMy first house after I married had a yellow rose bush, it loved being left alone (unlike most roses) which was a good thing, because I didn't know much about them then. Since then, every house we've lived in I have made sure we have a yellow rose bush... to continue the good luck and love we've shared since the very first yellow rose! I would love to win this prize today, the items are so lovely. Thank you for offering them. Happy Valentine's Day to you!
ReplyDeleteI love a dusty pink rose... one that is particularly fragrant! And, I love all your sweet tea themed valentines. What a great collection. Am enjoying Valentine's Giveaway week, and am happy for all the winners!

Pink roses, soft little baby pink roses. The most important thing to me though is that they smell wonderful. Some of the newer breeds don't have that incredible smell. As long as it smells good, ahhh, that's my favorite.

I would love this give away, as you know we share a love of roses. In my bridal bouquet I had yellow roses, but my heart in recent years has veered toward soft pinks.
ReplyDeleteLove the notepads and the sticky onesssssss

oh soooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like yellow roses, but pink roses were Aunt Ida's favorites, so they are special to me for that reason.
ReplyDeleteSalmon colored roses are my favorite. I can't wait to plant roses around our house now that we are somewhere warm enough to grow them!
ReplyDeleteI love white roses. Not sure why, but for some reason I just do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway!
Laurie
I like yellow roses.
ReplyDeleteI love all colors. But like the mini roses the best. they smell so nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of the deep red roses. It's a bit traitress of me given a natural inclination to support Alice in her Wonderland adventures, but I still do prefer the red.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I've misssed all these giveaways- I guess I've been away! So please put me in- you KNOW I love roses. And pale pink and coral are my favorite colors- how about you? What's your favorite color Angela?
