Help! Need tea-themed notecards!
I never thought this would happen: I'm running out of teacup notecards!
There was a time when my writing desk was simply brimming with drawers full of pretty papers, cards and thank-you notes featuring teacups and teapots. Now I realize I can write a thank-you note on anything, and I do always have cards with roses on them, but I can't bear to send a thank-you note for a tea gift that's not on a tea-themed notecard or paper. And now I'm down to these two measly little choices: some forgotten notecards from Carol Wilson (the cutesy ones in the teapot-shaped holder) and these simple pink ones from Hallmark.
My usual sources (T.J. Maxx, Marshall's, Ross, Tuesday Morning) have not had any lately. I realize that could have changed yesterday, since these stores re-stock all the time, but sheesh ... I just didn't imagine I'd get so low on tea-themed notecards that I would ever be anxious about finding some! Next, am going to start looking online. But that's not nearly as fun as walking into T.J. Maxx and finding some beautiful $12 cards for $2.99. (Anybody got a source they'd like to share?)

I have some that I bought at TJ Maxx a bit back I can send to you. I used one of them thus far. EM me.
ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous offer! How about we swap some cards? (I'll send you some of the two designs I've got as a "stationery exchange," just like I've seen done on other blogs, which I think is a pretty neat idea.) You can e-mail your address to me off-list at angela@newnan.com. Thank you!
I have been buying tea themed cards, note pads, and stationery for many years. I'm hopelessly addicted. I think you will thoroughly enjoy the following website. Kim offers many tea themed cards and so forth.

I love, love, love your blog...I enjoy it every day!
Oh! My! Goodness!
ReplyDeleteThis online Kimberly Shaw store is incredible! Love the cards (and that they can be selected individually), and the notepads, and the gift sets ... and I love the "About me" page ... and the story about the basket teacup. I think I see a favorite notecard supplier in my future! Thanks so much for sharing this site, and also for the kind words about the blog. I'm always inspired to go write more posts after a word of encouragement!
Angela,
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've ever blogged. Got your note. Love the BBtea pics. Found you some notecards at Ross. I'll get them to you.
Bonnie
Oh, dear! Bonnie is the very friend I needed to get the tea-themed notecards FOR, since I wanted to properly thank her for that wonderful Black Bear Tea! What on earth will I do to thank her for the thank-you note cards???
