Cookie cutter collecting

Last week at Michaels I discovered a new set of cookie cutters that may be of interest to my fellow tea lovers! While I do already own some teapot and teacup cookie cutters, they aren't the exact shape and size of these, so for $3.99 I thought this set would be a useful addition to my cookie cutter collection.

The teapot is about 3-3/4 inches wide by 3 inches tall.

The teacup is about 3-1/2 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches tall.

Michaels is also where I found the leaf-shaped cookie cutters I used for last week's tea sandwiches ($5.99 for the set of 9). So if any of you need new cookie cutters, the selection seems to be especially good right now that we're all starting to think about the holidays.

AND COMING MONDAY ... I have a big announcement to make! I've been working on a major project I hope some of you will be interested in, and on Monday I'll share the details with you!

  1. Just a question. How do you store your cookie cutters. I have very little drawer space and haven't found a good way to store them so I can find the ones I need.

  2. I wonder if our Michaels store in Canada will have these? One thing I do know from shopping trips, the prices in the US stores are much cheaper than here.
    Thanks for sharing this collection.
I'll be back Monday for your big announcement.

  5. Cynda, I keep mine in a hinged plastic container in a kitchen cabinet, but I've thought of doing as Belinda says and storing them in those candy jar looking containers.

  11. Hello, Angela! Love those cookie cutters - great designs! I love Michaels.

A storage suggestion: if you could put up some 'S' hooks or peg hooks, you could display some cutters near a tea rack - I have done that before, especially around the holidays.

Can't wait for your announcement -
hope you & yours have a wonderful weekend, Joanie

  12. Thanks for the heads-up. I looked for these at AC Moore today and they did not have them (or the other 3 things I needed). So a trip to Michaels is in my future.

  13. I love when you share your finds. I called around the Michaels in our area and finally found them at the last store I called. They only had 7 left. Picked mine up on the way home. Margie
