A sweet new Winter Blend

Isn't this herbal tea blend pretty? It smelled so sweetly fragrant when I first opened it that I knew I would probably like it, and I was also smitten by how pretty it is!

This is another of the teas I recently got courtesy of a Macy's gift card, and this tea was on sale for half off. This Winter Blend from Tealish Fine Teas is an herbal tea that includes vanilla, almond, hibiscus, orange zest, cinnamon, and clove flavors. It is such a rich and sweet tea, it truly tastes like it's got sugar in it. And when I came in from my 40-degree afternoon walk yesterday, I made another big mug of this tea and devoured it!

Do you drink tea to stay warm? I do. I mean, yes, I drink hot tea all year round, but when the temperatures fall, my hot tea consumption definitely goes up. Does yours?

  1. I also drink hot tea all year, but agree that consumption definitely increases in the wintertime. When the days are cold I always have a mug of hot tea in my hand, or at least nearby.

  2. That IS a very pretty tea--I especially like the little blue flower petals. Yes, I DO drink tea in the winter to warm up. Drinking hot tea makes me feel warm and cozy. In addition to the taste of the tea and the evocative scent, I love the feel of the hot mug against my hands.

  3. I clicked on the link and ended up ordering $30.00 of their tea and most on sale, and free shipping. Thanks for the heads up, as I have never heard of that brand.

  5. Yes, I drink hot tea when I’m cold in winter. Today I had some of the last of Twinings Christmas tea.

  7. I drink a pot of tea every morning all year long. In the winter I may add one mug in the afternoon, but don't drink too late or I can't sleep.

    1. Hi, Joy, and I'm so glad you liked this tea too! (Your comment was awaiting moderation for some reason and I just now discovered it -- usually they just publish immediately ... strange!)
