A confession from Mr. Tea With Friends

Recently, I shared a newspaper column by Mr. Tea With Friends, and some of you asked for more. (Bless your heart, as we say.) It's rare for a columnist to write about his or her spouse, so I was as surprised as anyone to find my name in his column yet again this past Sunday.

But you see, I learned something new about my husband a few Sunday nights ago, and while he told me not to tell anyone, and I did not, he apparently decided to tell on himself. He does so in this open letter to Mr. Buzz Studly in which he surrenders his man card, along with the reason why …

  1. You were so smart to marry this darling man. If you tell me he knows how to shed a tear, I'll know for sure that he's not just darling, he's perfect.

Either of you can write about anything, and I'll be happy to read it. You both seem to have a way with words which delights every time.

    2. I rather doubt it. I've read enough of your blogs to know that you're a kind, sweet, loving lady. If he shed a tear you caused, it was probably tears of joy.
