It's always fun when tea gifts from tea friends arrive in the mail, and last week I was blessed with not one but two surprise gifts, a fun new tea towel and some great new loose leaf tea!
The tea towel, courtesy of my friend Phyllis (Relevant Tea Leaf), features whimsical teapots in cheerful spring colors. Love it!
Also lovely? This delicious Earl Grey Green blend of tea from Linda (Friendship Tea), which came from Yesterday's Cafe & Tea Room in Florence, Kentucky. This tea was rich and delicious, like a really fine dessert tea, but more than that I just think it's so pretty with those blue cornflower petals sprinkled about! What's the last tea gift YOU received as a surprise from a friend?
I received a packet of loose leaf Lady Earl Grey from a US blogger a couple of years ago. It was a nice surprise to receive and the tea was very good.
ReplyDeleteVery thoughtful of Phyllis and Linda to gift you with tea things.

Somewhere, yesterday, I read about Earl Grey Green! And now I see it, and isn't it pretty? Love the tea towel, too. Looks like it has "your" colors going on. What nice surprises!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun surprises! I just received a pretty blue 'keep calm and drink tea' mug from a friend and fellow tea room owner. It was a pleasant surprise!
ReplyDeleteSuch special gifts from Phyllis and Linda! The teapot tea towel is so cheerful and inviting! And I love the blue in that yummy looking tea!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!

It's like a birthday or Christmas getting nice surprises from blog mates, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteThat tea looks delish and the towel is just plain FUN!!
My surprise gift from a friend was not tea related. But recently on a very rainy day, a friend of mine came in my office with an adorable rain boot filled with fresh flowers. Her reason for the surprise? She said, "Tina, I just love you so much!" Love the blue in the tea. Almost too pretty to drink! Well...maybe not!
ReplyDeleteYour gifts are wonderful and so sweet.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember my last tea gift. Several sent tea bags in birthday cards, that is always a treat. I gifted myself with some nice teas in San Francisco for my birthday. That tea from Linda does look pretty with the blue flowers.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember my last surprise gift. Your towel and tea are very pretty! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLovely gifts from two lovely ladies to a third lovely lady.
