The other Saturday night, I headed north of Atlanta to go meet my granddaughter, Bella, for dinner. Her birthday was the week before, and I'd told her I wanted to treat her to dinner at her favorite restaurant, and that ended up being Mellow Mushroom! When I got there with her birthday gift and we went into the restaurant, I was very surprised to find she had a gift for me as well, this beautiful pink chintz snack set from Gracie China.
Bella said she'd been out shopping when she saw this and thought of me. She said, "I didn't know whether you already had one like it, but I knew you didn't have one like it from me." And she told me to consider it a Happy New Year gift. Can you imagine how delighted I was? (Yes, I'll bet you can.) I plan to be very careful with this set, as I hope to hang on to it forever!
Bella also included some tea bags of her current favorite tea, Aveda's Comforting Blend, which I greatly enjoyed, as well as these Gourmet Honey Spoons.
It's such a treat to just plop one of these Lemon Honey spoons into my teacup and enjoy a sweet treat—all courtesy of my sweet granddaughter!
