A new teatime candle

I do not care for dark, gray days, so I burn quite a few candles during the winter. I'm about to polish off my latest "pine cone" scented candle, so I was attracted to the pretty glassware with these $3 candles when I was at Target last week. What's the fragrance of the green one, I wondered?

Why, rosemary and tea! Perfect!

It's really more of a light floral fragrance, and I love it and wish I'd bought a couple more. But you know what else? I just love the pretty green glass! It's slightly larger than a votive, and when the candle burns down, I do believe I'll be finding another use for this glass. The color matches some glass teacups and plates I have, so maybe it can hold … demitasse spoons? Lemon curd? Small candy canes at Christmas? I'll come up with something!

  1. Any of those uses (and more) would work, but I’m pretty partial to the lemon curd idea!
