Pukka Three Ginger Tea

Are you a fan of ginger? I am. I love the spicy flavor and the little zing it gives to food and drink, so this week I tried a new herbal tea with ginger, Pukka's Three Ginger Tea.

According to Pukka's website, the tea is made with "three delicious roots from the ginger family to create the fullest flavour (and) will help settle digestion whilst warming and uplifting your spirit." (No digestive issues here, I just like the ginger!)

When I opened the box, I was surprised to find individually wrapped teabags, since I often find a plastic bag containing the unwrapped tea bags. Individually wrapped teabags are particularly nice when traveling, and I plan to do a little of that soon. I was also pleased to find a very intense ginger flavor in this tea. If you're a ginger fan as well, you might want to give this tea a try!

  2. My husband, a Brit, LOVES ginger tea and we always have it in the house...and travel with it. A great seasickness remedy if we are on a rough weather cruise as well. Do you know that Pukka is an English slang term from the Raj period and means genuine or the real thing?

  3. I love ginger tea, too. And the addition of tumeric would boost its healthful properties.

  5. I would love this tea. I love anything ginger. Have you tried The Ginger People's ginger jelly (or preserves, I forget which)? I found it at World Market a few months ago. It was great!
