Have you heard of Giving Tuesday? I had not, but this is the second annual one, and it's a day to follow up Black Friday and Cyber Monday with a "national day of giving" here at the beginning of the holidays. I love the idea, and I'm planning to make a donation *somewhere* today. (Haven't decided yet, but I had the idea to take the money I would have spent on my late mother's Christmas gift and give it away to charity. My mom was an extremely giving person, easily the most generous soul I ever knew, so I think she'd like that.) To encourage others to give today, I decided to host a mini-giveaway as well, of one of these packages of pretty teacup Christmas cards!
These little 4 x 5-inch cards came from Ross, just $3.99, and when I got myself a package, I just couldn't see leaving that other package there when it might be snapped up by someone who wouldn't really love them like all of you would! (Is that greed or merely looking out for my friends? I dunno.) All 10 cards are the same design, and they come with cute decorative envelopes, the front and back of which are shown here.
Want to win them? Just leave a comment to this post between now and 7 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and I'll announce the winner that day so I can get your address (please make sure I can contact you!) and get this in the mail in time for your Christmas gift giving. U.S. only please. Good luck!
Oh, my! So very lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!

I had not heard of Giving Tuesday until reading about it on your blog. [I'm always learning something new from you!] You're a close second to your mother when it comes to being generous. You learned well from her. Unfortunately there are no Ross stores in my area or I'd be making a trip there today. My blog post today is about tea-themed Christmas cards.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards. I have not heard of Giving Tuesday either. But I plan to celebrate it today. Not sure how I will do it; but I will do a little giving today!
