Some fun window shopping

On Friday afternoon, my husband and I were at Lenox Mall in Atlanta doing some last-minute shopping when I saw a couple of retail displays I thought you might enjoy. This one is the "Christmas gown" of my dreams—or any tea lover's dreams!

And here's a close-up of the bodice. Crafted from actual cups, saucers and plates, this flowing gown comes courtesy of Anthropologie, which always has the most clever retail displays!

I could have looked at this for hours—if my man hadn't been waiting back at the food court!

And here's a parting shot of the back of the "gown."

Later, as we were leaving the mall, I saw yet another teatime display in the window at Club Monaco.

Naturally, this caught my eye as well.

Very clever, spraypainting this topsy-turvy teatime display all gold.

Cups, saucers, table, books, everything … how very festive!

  3. How fun! An Anthropologie store is relatively close to where I live, but I've yet to stop in. It might be fun to visit this week between Christmas and New Year's.
Merry Christmas to you and your family, Angela. May all the joy [and tea themed goodies] you give away return to you on Christmas Day! Hugs, Phyllis

  5. Anthropology has such clever window displays but this one really tops all- especially for us!! Did you see the two handled teapot there? You can make two different teas in one pot.
Many blessings to you at Christmas. Thank you for your inspiration.

  10. How unique and of course fun for tea lovers. I have noticed so many store windows and advertisements with tea themes.

The Anthropologie store in the mall near me has a huge peacock on the wall made of dish towels and scarves for the tail. Beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your photos with us.
