A teacup meant for me

Earlier this year I came across a photo of this teacup and decided I had to have one like it. Alas, it was $75 and I wasn't willing to pay that. So I trolled eBay for most of the year until I found one for a much more reasonable $14.99, and then I made the purchase.

Now can you guess why I just had to have this particular Royal Albert teacup? Was it the pretty chintz pattern or the nice swirly handle design?

No. I guess you could say it just had my name on it!

  11. How fun! On a recent thrift store shopping trip I found a white anchor coffee mug that someone had added an antiqued label to. The label has a little teapot & says 'Aunt Jenny's Herb Tea, Good Sippin' since 1893' I love it & of course had to get it just for the label.

Not as nice as your find.

  14. How wonderful, Angela! You've inspired me to look for patterns bearing the names of some of my dear tea-loving friends as birthday gifts for next year. Of course, I also looked for some with my name and found several lovely patterns called "Patricia" or "Lady Patricia" that are now on my wish list.
