A fun new "tea shirt"
Once in a very great while, I pay full retail price. I don't question it. I don't quibble or dicker. I don't try to get a better deal on eBay or Amazon. I don't go to my beloved retailmenot.com looking for a discount code. I just pony up the cash and move on. And that was the case when I plunked down my $24.99 for this "tea shirt" at my local Cracker Barrel on Friday.
Reader Janet P. was kind enough to give me a heads-up about what she called "without a doubt the most perfect 'T-shirt' for tea lovers." And I think she is absolutely right! Here you can see details of the front ...
... and even the sleeves.
And here's the back, which is just like the front minus the sparkle. It's way too cold for me to wear it just yet, but just as someone was thoughtful enough to share this info with me, I wanted to share it with you while you still have a prayer of finding one at your nearest Cracker Barrel. (I'd also like to thank our model, my mannequin Matilda. Yes, feel free to give her a hand, everyone. By the way, Matilda will be getting a major makeover soon, involving tea-dyed lace and tea-themed jewelry.)
If you do go to Cracker Barrel in search of this shirt, I should mention that the pretty teacup planter Linda wrote about here is on sale at my local CB for 25 percent off, and they also have the teacup-shaped sticky notes I gave away here, as well as some pretty tea towels with teapots on them. (But the tea towels were $10, which I thought was too much. I don't want to get in the habit of paying full price!)

Looks like I need to go back to Cracker Barrel...
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect tea shirt for us tea enthusiasts. I really like the soft colors and 3/4 sleeves. Luckily there is a Cracker Barrel in my neighborhood. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNow I know we need to get to Cracker Barrel...lol! Maybe we'll go there Tuesday since we're taking our senior friend to lunch. I love the 3/4 length sleeves. While I like a bargain, I usually just go and buy it if I want it. Enjoy your shirt!
ReplyDeleteLove the tea shirt. Now why don't I have a Cracker Barrel in my neighborhood! You ladies find the most fun tea things there.
ReplyDeleteMatilda wears her Tea well!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for Sharing -- Tea time never looked so good!

Love the shirt! I never would have thought to look at Cracker Barrel for tea stuff. Thanks for the tip
ReplyDeleteWhat a pret-tea shirt! I love longsleeve T's, they are my favorite winter wear. Then again, I live in California and we don't have blizzards here...
ReplyDeleteRetail isn't too bad, occasionally... Sometimes with clothing you have no choice. I say as long as it's something you love, it's ok. This shirt is definitle "love" worthy!
Ooooooh I lurve it! That is different! Too bad there aren't any CB in California. Enjoy your beautiful new shirt!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up - I love Cracker Barrel! Joanie
ReplyDeleteOh I am going there tomarrow hopefully mine will have some..thanks so much for the heads up...

Thank you Angela! It took two Cracker Barrels to find my size. I have a new shirt for my tea visit this afternoon. I also found an adorable metal teapot planter. (Thank you for helping me part with my money.) Neither CB had the tea towels, planter or notes. Soothing Sips and Sunny Smiles. Tea Time Teresa
ReplyDeleteI love it! I might have to head to CB too! But I'm with you, I never buy full price when there are so many great sales.
