Even though I've read dozens, maybe even hundreds, of books about tea and teatime, there are always books on my teatime reading list that I haven't gotten around to reading yet. One of them is the 1906 classic The Book of Tea by Okakura Kakuzo, and I discovered this week that an ebook version is available for free from the Library of Congress!
If you can read epub files, just click here, look for the download button at left below the photo, and select "EPUB" to download the book. Happy reading!
Thank you! I will check into this.

I am downsizing and wonder if you would care to receive as a gift the book, The Eccentric Teapot, Four Hundred Years of Invention by Garth Clark, Abbeyville Press Publishers, 1989? It contains photos of teapots and their stories, some whimsical, many in private collections. Barbara in MN
ReplyDeleteI have this in hardback, but haven't read it through. I really must do that.
ReplyDeleteI followed the instructions you gave for downloading the e-book, but all I got was a lot of gibberish on the screen. Wondering if it has to be done on a certain OS version. Will ask an "expert" and try again.
