Tea friend Janet P. in Texas has once again sent me scurrying to Michaels, this time for a terrific new line of Mary Engelbreit tea-themed goodies, including these totally gaudy, must-have rhinestone accents. No idea what I'll use these for, but I can't risk them getting gone while I figure it out!
Here's what was in the bag I left with that day, although there were actually many other designs. These current $1.50 goodies include a *lot* of tea loot, friends, and I hope to stock up even more when they knock them down to $1.
LOVE the new notecards!
And these may be my favorite "Mary" cupcake papers ever!
Finally, who could resist such a sweet little rubber stamp! Isn't it fun when something under $2 brings us so much happiness?
A trip to Michael's is in order! :D :D
ReplyDeleteOh, my, when can I get to Michael's?
ReplyDeleteAngela, I am trying to stay away from Michael's and spending more money there. :-)
ReplyDeleteSweet cards for sure. I'd like to see us tea ladies exchange notecards somehow. Many of us make our own cards or can purchase inexpensive ones like you've shown.
What do you think, a nice idea?
Judith
Darling things - perfect for favors at a tea party or to make your own invitations - even would work well for children!!!
ReplyDeleteAt least - little girls!
ReplyDeleteI must say you even find the best tea things at Michael's. Then when I go I never see them. Would love that rubber stamp and cupcake papers. Maybe I need to run over there right now.
ReplyDeleteFun things! One of my tea room customers gave me the little 'Tea is a cup of life' stamp just this past Sunday. So cute! And my sister sent me one of those glitzy rhinestone stickers, only it was a cupcake. I stuck it on the inside of my medicine cabinet in the tea room restroom where I have a variety of little cutesy things attached, you know, for that moment when you 'peek' inside.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, hope Michael's still have some left when I get there. Have to travel an hour to Michael's
ReplyDeleteI just had a lady (young) i n my store who is from about an hour from you - she is going to check out your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteLove these products!
ReplyDeletelove and follow your blog daily! tried your Dill Muffins recipe and have a ?....was there any ingredient omitted from the recipe? i made them and couldn't get the inside to bake at all...they were all unbaked and doughy inside. did i miss something? i followed the recipe to a T and was so disappointed when they were inedible. HELP!! thanks so much. Sharon Bader
ReplyDeleteSharon B., since you followed the instructions to a T, and it said to fill the muffin tins only halfway, I'm wondering if perhaps your muffin pans are larger than mine so "halfway" ended up being too much batter in the tins. My Dill Muffins were so flat (more the height of a small canned biscuit), there's not much way they could have remained uncooked. Is it possible that's the problem?
ReplyDeleteMy son is home sick today. I popped out to pick up ingredients for homemade chicken noodle soup. Conveniently, I chose the market across from Michael's and was able to pick up a few of the bling tea cups & tea pots.......
ReplyDeleteAngela, You are so much fun. I understand your logic about getting items and not knowing what I will do with them. This makes perfect sense to me. Blessings
ReplyDeleteGuess where I'm going tomorrow after work!!! Thank you Christine
ReplyDeleteLove your description of the rhinestone accents. Maybe you could use them on a card?
ReplyDeleteDear Angela,
ReplyDeleteWe are giving some of those away. They went up on our blog a little over a week ago. The drawing is on Sunday.
Anyone who is interested, please come on over.

Happy Easter!
Great finds at Michael's - I must get over there and see if my local store has these.
ReplyDeleteI shall be going to Michael's first thing Monday. I hope that I have better luck than you. If so I will be happy to share the bounty.
