I love it when I find *just* the thing I've been looking for!
Recently I headed to the antique stores in search of some sort of flat serving tray that would hold a whole loaf of tea bread. That meant it needed to be rectangular, and it couldn't have compartments, and all I could think of was that *maybe* I'd find something in clear glass or ruby red since the antique stores have all their Christmas decor out now. I was delighted to happen upon this Poinsettia design tray from Royal Albert! Perfect!
I've since learned there are Poinsettia teacups and other pieces in this pattern, but the tray is just what I was looking for!
And at $10, I thought the price was right too. If you'll stop by tomorrow, I'll tell you about the delicious new recipe that made its home on this tray!
Isn't it just brilliant when we find such treasures ..Beautiful !!

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tray! I saw some poinsettia china today at an antiques emporium, but since I was shopping for other items, I didn't look at it closely. Now I want to!
