An update …

Friends, my husband's hospital stay ended with him moving to Heaven, and while I'm very, very sad for me, I'm overjoyed for him and know I'll see him again. Just wanted you to know it'll be a while longer before I'm blogging again, but so many of you have become true friends over the years that I wanted you to know. Please remember me in your prayers!

Here's his obituary: https://www.mckoon.com/obituaries/Alex-Mcrae/#!/TributeWall

  3. I too send love and prayers for you Angela and will be lifting you up in prayer that the void you feel will be overwhelmed with the Lord's assurance of a reuniting in eternity. My husband and I are still here but keenly aware of the fact that life is but a vapor. This scripture is one I heard many years ago and for the believer: Psalms 116:5 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints".

  6. Angela, I am so very sorry for your loss of your dear Alex. Sending prayers to uplift you at his time and for comforting memories to follow you all the rest of your days. "Death is a heartache nothing can heal. Love is a memory no one can steal." (From an Irish headstone)

  18. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers especially after the memorial service when you're no longer surrounded by loving family and friends, and reality sets in that Alex is gone. Praying wonderful memories comfort you, as well as the strength our Lord will provide as you begin to adjust to a new normal.
