Taylors of Harrogate Blackberry & Raspberry Tea
Years ago, when Holly Cottage Tearoom was still operating here in Newnan, I became acquainted with Taylors of Harrogate since the company's teas were served there. I've enjoyed their loose tea and tea bags many times since then, and this week at Marshalls, I came across a new-to-me variety from Taylors.
This blackberry and raspberry blend is just the sort of thing I enjoy each February. In honor of a month I think of as "pink," I sip lots of berry blends, and I was happy to find some berry-flavored tea bags since I can take some with me (if there are any left) on some spring trips I have planned.
And the taste? Excellent! Many berry blends have this tart and vaguely berry taste that could be anything: strawberry, blueberry, whatever. This tea has the distinct flavors of blackberry and raspberry, and the combo was brilliant. Wishing I'd bought another box. Are you familiar with Taylors of Harrogate?

While I have heard of the brand, I’m not sure if I’ve ever had any - but this one surely sounds delicious, and I’m glad you found it.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great tea. I bet it would be good iced on a hot summer day.
ReplyDeleteThe Washington National Cathedral here in DC used to have a very popular "Tour and Tea" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I was a volunteer for it, and we always served Taylors and Harrogate Earl Grey at our afternoon teas. The attendees would often ask what kind of tea it was, since they liked it so much. Unfortunately, the pandemic put a stop to our Tour and Tea program, and it wasn't started back up. But I'm glad to hear about that Blackberry and Raspberry Tea by Taylor and Harrowgate! I will definitely look for it. It's such a pretty color!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am familiar with Taylors of Harrogate and I have had the Blackberry/Raspberry flavored tea and I always enjoy it! I'm pretty sure I have a few bags and am now thinking I will be having a cup of it very soon!! You chose the perfect cup and saucer to match the pretty color of the tea! Susan in NC
