I absolutely love the cover of the January/February 2026 Tea Time Magazine! The pink teapot from R. Haviland and C. Parlon is stunning. And if this $1,850 teapot ever shows up at T.J. Maxx, count me in! Occasionally, I imagine what it might be like to sell all the tea wares I own and buy one really luxurious set instead, but then I think of all the fun I've had finding teacups and teapots at thrift stores and antique malls and go, "Nah."
Whether or not we choose to splurge on new teapots this winter, we can make some of the lovely treats in this issue, like the strawberry-topped champagne cupcakes and the pomegranate panna cotta.
And since my husband was a native of New Orleans and loved king cakes, I was delighted to see the petite king cakes in this magazine.
Especially after perusing this issue, I'm hoping to have a few friends over for a Valentine's Tea this year. Are you hosting anything special?

I agree, the pink teapot is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI also thought the tiny king cakes were very cute!
ReplyDeleteThat is a stunning teapot. I’ll let you know if I ever find one when I’m thrifting. (Haha).
ReplyDeleteI also fell in love with that gorgeous, unaffordable teapot…but I don’t think I would give up my other tea wares for it, my Christmas tea set, my hand made pottery mugs, etc., and you have so many beautiful tea things, your roses, Christmas wares, etc. We can dream that we’ll find the teapot at an estate sale or thrift shop one day!
