Do you care about pens? Some people don't, and they'll write with any old thing, but I have to have a nice collection of pens around me and in my purse. This is the latest addition. It's from Levenger, their own special Retro 51 Tornado pen. I've enjoyed using several Tornado pens over the years, and this one was right up my alley.
With its pretty floral design, the look is definitely my cup of you-know-what.
And so, it turns out, is the name! Now, I usually prefer a blue ballpoint pen, and I've got a nice Pelikan fountain pen that I use when I'm feeling fancy, but this black rollerball pen writes beautifully and has a nice heft to it. What's your favorite kind of pen? (And ink color, if that matters to you!)

I DO love pens, so thank you for the recommendation of that beauful floral one!
ReplyDeleteI was just this morning looking for my various pens to use on my Valentine cards--I chose a fountain pen with blue ink, and some red felt-tip callligraphy pens, too. I also like to write with green ink, which I'll certainly do for St. Patrick's Day cards! I like to use various types of pens--right now I have inky fingers from my fountain pen! A favorite is my beautiful, heavy, green ballpoint with brass Celtic designs on it--I got it on Etsy several years ago, and it's handmade by a gentleman in Britain. I also have three German fountain pens for kids (they are easy to hold).
I like pens that do not smear. My favorite for everyday writing is Pilot Precise Rolling Ball. I keep black and blue for everyday writing and fun colors for special things.
ReplyDeleteThat pen is lovely! I like roller ball pens. My favorites are by TUL - not due to how they look but because of how easily they write. Some marketing genius at Office Depot included a sample TUL pen with an office supplies order several years ago, and I was hooked from the minute I tried it. I bought a pack of black ink pens and a pack of blue ones a couple of years ago so I shouldn’t run out anytime soon!
