Didn't the Queen look lovely on the balcony at Buckingham Palace yesterday for her Platinum Jubilee? I was so happy to see that smile, and her dress and hat were beautiful. I was so sorry to hear that she wasn't feeling well afterward, so today, I'm sharing photos of my Queen Elizabeth coronation teacup and other memorabilia as I wish her well!
I love that commemorative teacup and saucer! Yes, she did look lovely, I enjoyed seeing the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a beautiful cup and saucer! If you look at the pretty botanical motifs in the borders of both, you will see the symbols of the parts of Great Britain--the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the shamrock for Ireland, and the daffodil for Wales.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen looked lovely as she always does. All of the great grand children were so cute.

I love to follow the Queen. When Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret were young I always loved following their doings. I had a book as a child on the Two Princesses.

The Queen is such a lovely lady. She always is dressed beautifully. It is a shame that she should could not attend the Thanksgiving Mass. I have numerous books and other products that I collect concerning the Queen and her family.

I loved seeing the Queen standing there on the balcony too. My favorite part of the celebration was the video of the Queen having tea with Paddington. Wasn't that the sweetest!!!?
ReplyDeleteI think when this is all over it will be rather boring! Loved all the Queen celebrations!
