Last Friday, my Aunt Jane and I spent the day shopping in Rome (Georgia, not Italy, alas), and I was pleased to add to my Santa mug and teapot collection for under $2!
I knew immediately this 55-cent mug was going home with me because it's got a design that is slightly different than my other Santa mugs, and I also liked the striped handle.
But my happiest find was this 99-cent Santa teapot! I have a mug (or two, or three …) with this exact same Santa face, but I've certainly never seen it in a teapot design. Christmas is already looking to be a good one this year, and I'm thinking I'll have enough Christmas teawares (to say nothing of Santa mugs) to serve all my friends and maybe the neighbors, too!
Those are so cute! I love that striped handle, too, but the teapot is beyond adorable. Great finds!
ReplyDeleteI love the cross-eyed Santa on the teapot. He looks as if he has a million and one things on his to-do list and is nearly overwhelmed! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI love the glasses on the Santa tea pot. If I remember the last time I read a post where you went to Rome, GA shopping you also found a Santa mug. That must be a great place to shop. Love your posts. Blessings
ReplyDeleteGreat finds. I've never seen a teapot like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky find. Everytime I see Santa wares I think of you.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Just be careful about actually pouring hot liquids into some of these glazed cuties. I found out the hard way (on a brand new mug) that the glaze will crack. Guess they're more for show and enjoyment than use.
ReplyDeleteThat little tea pot is adorable! I have never seen such a cute expression. Joanie
