Happy St. Patrick's Day, y'all! Shortly I'll have corned beef and cabbage going in the crockpot, and I must confess I cheated this year and got some Irish Soda Bread at the grocery store to enjoy with the meal and with tea. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day with a special meal or treat? If so, please tell! Today I thought I'd show some of my green-colored tea goodies, including vintage salt and pepper shakers, above, a favorite mug, tea and toast set, a crocheted teapot, a needlebook, tea books, and even a paint swatch, all inspired by St. Patrick's Day and the color green. Enjoy!
That's a lotta tea greens! Fun post. Happy St.Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteI have the cardboard teapot needle
ReplyDeleteholder ! Top o' the morning to you !
Corned beef and cabbage, mmmmmm. I haven't had that meal in years (my Mom used to make it often).
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of nice greens. I especially like that lovely tea and toast set.
Such fun green things. I am off to join my sister at a St. Patrick's Day tea. I know there is Irish stew on the menu.
ReplyDeleteYou have so many sweet & cute things. I'd love to hear the story behind the S&P set.
ReplyDeleteI didn't do anything for St Patty's today, not even wearing green, no corned beef & cabbage either. Blah :-(
Teresa, the only story about the S&P set, I'm afraid, is a dull one: I found it cheap on eBay!
ReplyDeleteHappy St Patrick's Day!
