This is a personal (but not terribly invasive) question: Do you paint your fingernails? I go through phases of painting and not painting mine. Currently I'm in a pro-painting phase, and the clear base coat I'd been using had gotten old and gunky. That just won't do, so when I was in Kroger the other day I decided to check out the Sally Hansen display. And look what I found!
For a week now I've been using this Green Tea and Bamboo Nail Strengthener, and I like it a lot. It goes on neat and clean, dries fast and does indeed appear to be working on strengthening my nails. So if you want to "wear" your tea habit from (nail) tip to toe, this might be worth a look!
Toenails - yes. Fingernails - rarely, but just resolved to about 2 days ago!
ReplyDeleteToenails ,yes also. Maybe this stuff would make my nails worthy of polish-gonna look for it,
ReplyDeleteWith my business it's so hard to keep my nails neatly trimmed let alone, painted. I do love them painted though I just never do. THis product looks like a good one though for strength. Man what will they think of next?
ReplyDeleteAngela, I never cease to be amazed at the things you find out there in the wide world that have tea in them, it's amazing really.
ReplyDeleteI personally don't paint my fingernails, I like it on other people, but on me it seems garrish... weird. I do however always have my toes done. I love pedicures!
I like my fingernails painted, but rarely do it. It's funny that I love painting in arts and crafts projects, but do a dismal job at painting my own nails. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI recently saw a similar product on the clearance rack at Publix. Now that I've read your review, I'll have to try this Green Tea Nail Strengthener.
Now, I'm no expert on this because I'm a guy. But I'd say, "Drink your tea instead of trust a chemical product like this to make a difference." Just drink lots of tea and you'll have nice nails. --Teaternity
ReplyDeleteYour article inspired me to cut my nails. It just *might* improve my typing and hand washing skills. Ian Fleming's James Bond *always* preferred short, square cut
ReplyDeletenails. Those Brits drink a lot of tea. So I will follow Jason's lead, once again.
Yep, I'm a painter, both toes and fingers!
ReplyDeleteClear polish is a good idea. Let me know how you like this. I always say I will get mine done once I let them grow. That's only happened once in my life!
