I am going ...Angela, This was so much fun to read. I am going to forward it to several friends. Most of my family is from Northeast Missouri near St. Patrick, MO. St. Patrick has a beautiful Catholic Church, graveyard and a leprechaun sized post office combined with an antique store. People from all over the world send their St. Patrick's Day cards to the post office there where they are hand-stamped with a green shamrock cancelling the postage. My mother used to send me a card from there every year. Now she is buried in the cemetery behind the church. It is out in the country and beautiful and peaceful. I miss my mother and the nice little things she did, and I seem to miss her more as the years go on. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and thank you for the lovely story. Your gang lead by Liam is very creative and I'm sure they could contort themselves into little shamrocks for a free ride across the big pond. After all, in our imagination anything is possible!
Haha, I can see me reading this to the grands and they'll be trying to pick the shamrocks off granny's teacups that did in fact come from Ireland. :-)Judith @ Lavender Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16361061491506137380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-87681121239648056672015-03-14T14:03:20.597-04:002015-03-14T14:03:20.597-04:00Enjoyed this story, Angela, so creative! I love St. Patrick's Day: festive music, food, ale, shamrocks and leprechauns, how can you miss? I hope you and Alex have a Wonderful holiday! *

* I just saw a promo for CBS Sunday Morning TV show: they are interviewing Princess Diana's brother, at the family home (they said the Spencer home is more than 500 years old).
