If you had to guess, you'd probably say this is some sort of nice berry-flavored tea, right?
But it's not! It's a tea from The Tea Spot, and this "Lights Out" blend is a hibiscus tea with chamomile, valerian root, and other herbs. I do try to avoid caffeine at bedtime these days, and I'll drink chamomile sometimes, but as far as teas go, that one's a bit boring.
These silken tea bags brewed up with a nice strong and tart tea that somehow softens from the addition of the chamomile and other herbs, and I love having it as an evening choice. This was a gift from my friend Gina, and I'm so happy she introduced me to this tea!

Nice! And so pretty in that lovely glass teacup. Sweet dreams!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty tea! I do like hibiscus tea and have often had a hibiscus and rose hip tea, which has a beautiful color.
ReplyDeleteI love hibiscus tea and bet I would like this too.
