Valentine's Week Giveaway #3
My newest tea-themed vintage valentine is this lovely lass, and I'm guessing this is from the thirties or forties. Since it says "I'll wait for you my Valentine" …
I'm wondering whether Lloyd did indeed wait for Harriet Berry. Wouldn't that be fun to know?
It's also fun to know what the final Valentine's Week giveaway is, isn't it? Well, I was at an antique mall over the weekend and spotted this beautiful pale-green teacup with roses on it. Now, I definitely can't justify purchasing any more rose teacups for myself, but I could certainly justify getting it for one of you!
It's a Colclough set, and I have loved my Colclough teacups over the years. To be entered to win, just leave an "Enter me" comment to this post or on the Tea With Friends Facebook page by 7 a.m. EST tomorrow, February 14, making sure I have a way to contact you if you're the winner. US only, please. Good luck!

Who needs to justify purchasing pretty teacups? Certainly not us. 😀 I don’t “need” another teacup but go ahead and enter me anyway, please.

ReplyDeleteEnter Me, please, for your drawing tomorrow. kjgatlin@gmail.com Happy Valentine's Day to you, and thank you for spoiling us with your giveaways!
ReplyDeletePlease do not enter me. The teacup is lovely but my space is limited.
ReplyDeleteI did want to say that a vintage Valentine would make a nice start to a novel. Maybe a mystery where the main character is trying to find if Lloyd did wait for Harriet Berry. And they were found married for 50+ years on the front porch with the family all around.
That's a cute vintage Valentine with the little waitress carrying the tea tray! (It took me a couple of minutes to connect her "I'll wait for you" with waitressing...)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
