I wonder what the going rate for a pot of tea is now (3.50-4.00)?parTea ladyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17106196613047314184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-11264387918349984162009-08-13T08:58:23.749-04:002009-08-13T08:58:23.749-04:00That certainly is an interesting tea kettle. I have a gas cooking stove, but still haven't bought a stovetop tea kettle to use in place of my electric one. I should have purchased one before tornadoes and floods. We sure have experienced a variety of weather in 2009.Linda J.http://www.blogger.com/profile/00077587697557992493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-86702979013844156432009-08-13T10:07:57.988-04:002009-08-13T10:07:57.988-04:00I can see this as a perfect kettle for a rustic ca...I can see this as a perfect kettle for a rustic cabin-style tea party, which incidentally you would have if your power went out and you were having to cook over coals from your fireplace. I don't quite understand the two spouts, but it is a very nice kettle.Deberah Williamsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-70901861627509365082009-08-13T10:44:45.469-04:002009-08-13T10:44:45.469-04:00Looking at that mug, Angela, I've just gotta&#...Looking at that mug, Angela, I've just gotta' laugh...reminds me of the days when I used to say, "If it took two cents to make it from here to California, I wouldn't make it to Albuquerque!"Gwendol Bowlingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-89537859426782593062009-08-13T11:52:49.600-04:002009-08-13T11:52:49.600-04:00Wow - now that is very interesting!!Wow - now that is very interesting!!Stephhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05753205572837649406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2167015610970367792.post-26737796356923253322009-08-13T21:05:41.171-04:002009-08-13T21:05:41.171-04:00Wow, that's pretty nifty. You put loose tea in the smaller pot with just a few drops of water to wet the tea. Once the large kettle boils, add 1/2 cup of boiling water to the smaller pot and steam brew the tea for about 10 minutes over the boiling kettle. Since it makes stronger tea, usually you use little tea in your cup and add more boiling water.Sonalidahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04387342464664449236noreply@blogger.com
