Giveaway: A signed copy of "Dainty Dining"

For some reason, I've been getting quite a few requests this year for my 2011 book, "Dainty Dining: Vintage recipes, memories and memorabilia from America's department store tea rooms."  I'm happy to report the book is back in print and now available on Amazon.com. To celebrate the fact that it's in print again, I thought I'd do a giveaway!

If you'd like to win a signed copy, just leave an "Enter me" to this post between now and 7 a.m. this Friday, June 24, and you'll be entered to win! US and Canada only, please.

And may I ask a favor? If you've read one of my books and enjoyed it, I'd love for you to consider leaving a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. I've learned that reviews are essential for authors to be able to purchase advertising and other marketing services in the future, so I'm trying to get bolder about asking for them! Also, if you read *any* author's book, not just mine, please consider leaving a review, as reviews are extremely important to authors these days. Thanks, and good luck!

  5. Please enter me. I'd love a copy ... department store tea rooms remind me of being a very little girl and visiting my granny, dressing up (little white socks and patent leather shoes, the ladies with their gloves) and off to Neiman Marcus we would go. (Or Neiman's Mark-up per my Aunt!) Sweet memories!

Oh, I would LOVE having a copy of this book. I have wonderful memories of going to Bullock's Dept. Store Tearoom in Pasadena, CA with my grandmother for an afternoon of tea combined with a high-style fashion show where the models moved among the tables wearing the latest fashion. My grandmother liked seeing the clothes, but I liked eating the goodies served at the tea and pretending to be a grownup!
