A column by Mr. Tea With Friends

Many of you know that my husband and I are both writers, but I don't believe I've ever shared anything he's written on here. Since my baking is the subject of his Newnan Times-Herald column this week, I thought some of you who aren't local readers might be interested in it — and many of you can probably relate! Click here and enjoy!

  3. I loved Alex's 'Sacred Shortage' for the Newnan Times-Herald. It's 'almost' as good as your Saturday Teatime Tales. ;-) Thanks for sharing it.

  5. You are blessed with sweet joy, an understanding husband that knows what he did and is anxious to correct the situation and resolves to never let it happen again! the rest of us will just have to keep dreaming.

  6. Thanks for sharing the article. Eggs might not be off-limits at my house, but certainly there are other things that are-like my fabric scissors.

  10. A great column, and one many women can identify with. At least your hubby has his own colour coded stash of eggs, mine from a farm are in an egg holder bin. A big note 'don't touch the eggs - for baking' has worked for me. :-)

  11. I'm still laughing over The Sacred Shortage. How exciting to have two writers under the same roof. I'll bet you never run out of fun things to discuss. Send us more of Mr. Tea's work, please.

  15. Now that is a fun article. I really enjoyed it. I know this story well in my house. We have an extra refrigerator in the garage that is off limits to some family members. Ha! I don't like not having an ingredient when I have plans for it. I even have been know to hide canned things in my desk.

  16. This story had me rolling with laughter! I was laughing so much, my husband asked, "what's so funny?"

Of course, I handed my phone over to him and he started laughing as he read it too! (We are both fans of Alex's writing and we can never get enough of it, so a big thanks for sharing 'his writing' with us!)

Such a talented couple - Angela and Alex - a great match, it was meant to be! Have a great week, Joanie
