Stash Tea's Mango Passionfruit Herbal Tea

As a lover of mango teas, I thought I had tried just about every tea purveyor's version out there, but I came across this Mango Passionfruit blend from Stash Tea recently and couldn't remember trying it. I looked through all my mango tea posts back to 2007 and cannot find this tea mentioned, and it's so good that if I had tried it, I'm sure I'd have written about it. I tried it iced, too, and it was equally delicious that way!

Stash Teas are some of the first flavored hot teas I ever tried, but until recent years it wasn't common to see them in retail stores where I live. And that's too bad, because in addition to the tea's taste, I also like the design of the tea boxes. It's nice to have a box in the pantry that allows you to easily remove one teabag at a time.

I often steep a teabag twice (some results are better than others), so I also like Stash's custom of printing the name of the tea on the teabag's tag. That's awfully nice when you have two or three teabags in a dish (as I have been known to have) and are trying to recall which one you want to re-steep. Are you familiar with Stash Teas? If so, which ones do you recommend?

  1. That tea sounds delicious. It have tried some Stash teas, but I don't think I have any right now. Glad to know this flavor is really good.

  2. I like Stash teas too, there is quality to their flavour. The mango was very nice, thanks to you for sharing and I like their camomile the best of any brand.

  3. Funny someone else was blogging about Mango tea the other day....one I have never tried, and I love a fruity tea in the summertime.

I have never liked Stash teas. Not sure why, perhaps because 99% of the tea I drink is loose leaf, and I am not sure they carry loose?

I need to try again, because I always trust your recommendations.

    Have a fabulous weekend. Hugs.

  4. The Mango Passionfruit may be my favorite Stash Tea. I find them at Ross. I really need to NOT buy anymore tea and brew what I have -- which may take me years! ;)

  5. I like Stash's chai spice. I'm fortunate that their tea is sold in our grocery store. I'm going up to Portland next month and would like to visit their tea store there.

  6. I've had this tea before and enjoyed it too. Have you tried Trader Joe's mango? I think it's a black tea and it's good.

  7. This one sounds good. I would probably go for a Stash peach and black tea. In their shop I have found a most delicious loose tea that is similar to Yunnan Gold. Can't think of the name right now. If you came to Portland I would take you to their shop.

  10. This looks like a nice flavor combination - and I like that it is a herbal blend and therefore caffeine free. Perfect for that late night cup of tea!

  11. Thank you for sharing a sample with me. I love mangoes and prefer to drink caffeine-free tea in the afternoon.

I have tried Stash's Christmas-themed teas, pumpkin spice, chocolate hazelnut and vanilla honeybush (my fave).
