Teatime Giveaway #52 - $25 gift certificate for tea

The winner of the 2013 calendar from last week is Jackie C., who says she thinks of this blog every time she sees something with teapots on it, so congrats! If you'll send me your snail mail address via the e-mail button at right, I'll get this headed your way. And now, can you believe we've reached the end of the year and the last giveaway for 2012? It seems appropriate to end a year of tea giveaways with a gift of tea, so I decided to let the winner select which tea she (or he) wishes to receive. Here I show web pages for some of my favorite tea suppliers, including Upton Tea Imports, Twinings, Harney & Sons, Adagio and a 2012 discovery I really enjoyed, Capital Teas. Of course I'll be happy to order the winner a gift certificate from any U.S. tea company you like, you'll just need to tell me which company, since I discovered, for instance, that Stash Tea does not offer gift certificates.

As we end this year of giveaways, I'd also like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone for making this such a fun Saturday project for me in 2012! I've gotten so many nice thank-you notes in the mail and by e-mail, along with heaps of kind comments (and even some gifts!) thanking me for my "generosity." I must tell you I'm not really that generous, but I'm sure trying to be! The Bible tells us that Jesus said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). I can't help believing that my year of giving is one reason I have been so very blessed this year!

Now, to enter this final giveaway of 2012, just leave a comment with the name of the tea company from which you'd like to receive your $25 gift certificate. I believe most of them can deliver them electronically, so please enter by midnight EST New Year's Eve, and on New Year's Day you just may get notified that you're kicking off the new year with a gift of tea! Good luck!

Good morning Angela
I have enjoyed getting to know you through your blog and am always amazed at the variety of tea things you find, let alone gift to your readers. The quote from the Bible is one I was raised with as well as to always do what you know to be right, regardless of circumstances. We can only hope the new generation will learn the same values and follow through.
Blogging has brought many like minded women together and it's been nice to make new friends.

Thanks Angela for an interesting, informative, fun blog. I have truly enjoyed reading every post. You are the first place I check in the morning (after my Gingerwood Board). I would love a gift certificate to Twinnings should I win.

Through your recommendations I (we) have broadened my niece's range of tea likes. And now her friends are getting interested.

You have been very generous in your sharing of knowledge, recipes, gifts and general fun stuff. Thanks

Wishing you a happy 2013, full of all good things (and lovely teas) for you and yours.

Hello Angela, what a generous giveaway! I love your blog, it is so fun to visit and is a perfect way to start or end a day.

I enjoy reading about all the teas and I enjoy your book reviews and your 'Out and About' reports - they are always so interesting! And your photography is so beautiful, I feel like I am right there, whether it's a tea room in Madison or at the Biltmore, your photos 'take us along' on the Tea Journey. If my name is drawn, I would enjoy trying Capital Teas.

Thank you for a great year of 'Tea Travels!' Here's wishing you and your family a Wonderful New Year.

What a treat that would be to win a gift certificate from a favorite tea company. That one is difficult to say which I would choose. Right now I am enjoying teas from teasource.com, but then harney's is special too.
