Teatime Giveaway #9 - Irish Breakfast Tea & Recipe Booklet

The winner of the "English China" book from last week is Martha of the Lines from Linderhof blog. Congrats! If you'll send me your snail mail address via the e-mail button at right, I'll get this headed your way! And for this week's giveaway, the arrival of March reminded me it's not too soon to begin thinking about St. Patrick's Day.

For those who enjoy cooking and baking, perhaps you could use this "Favourite Irish Recipes" booklet, offering recipes for dishes like Almond Cheesecake, Soda Bread and Hunter's Pie, which is similar to Shepherd's Pie.

And I'm a great fan of drinking Twinings' Irish Breakfast Tea on St. Patrick's Day. If you'd like to win this tea and recipe booklet, just leave a comment to this post between now and noon EST Friday, March 9. And may the luck of the Irish be with you!

By the way, still enjoying going through your archives. Gets a little frustrating, though, when you have some nice little thing that pops up and then I realize "Oh, that store isn't carrying it anymore."

My nephew has asked if he could help me make the Irish Soda bread again this year. He will be 6 at the end of this month. He loves helping me make this.

Lovely Irish Breakfast tea! I bought some when on a family expedition to Australia three years ago. Sadly it isn't available in England (!!)-where I hail from or here in Norway, where I now live on my husbands farm. So if you accept international entries, please add me:) Thank you, Gill.
