A new teacup ornament to love

Friends, I have found slim pickings on the teacup and teapot ornament front this year. The few designs I saw at HomeGoods last month I already have. I've checked T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, Walmart, Target, Hallmark, Michaels, Hobby Lobby—all my usual haunts and they've turned up nothing but one silver ornament I found at JoAnn. Kohl's, I am happy to report, has a new glass ornament that should make some of us very happy!

I've seen designs similar to this one that say "coffee" or "java" or something like that, but this one isn't labeled and theoretically *could* be tea, if we had tea with decorative milk or cream and perhaps a little cinnamon added.

And they're on sale at Kohl's right now for half off, so the price is right. (And if you've seen some new ones yourself, I'd sure love to know!)

  2. That is a pretty ornament. The only new tea theme ornaments I've found were the silver teapot and cup and saucer ornaments at Hobby Lobby. They were nice, but I just didn't think they would fit in on my Christmas tea tree.

  3. That's a cute teacup Angela. I have a miniature teapot ornament in the Old Country Roses pattern from the Royal Doulton Store but I think they sell it every year.

  7. I love the Portmeiran tea ornament you showed in earlier post- but I can't find anywhere. We don't have HomeGoods, TJ Maxx or Kohl's anywhere close by. I also look for tea ornaments wherever I go.

  10. Just found your blog and am really enjoying getting "caught up". Love this ornament and will be looking at Kohl's to purchase one for my daughter. When we were in London this summer, we had shared lattes that looked like this and it will be a nice reminder of some great memories. Would not have thought to shop at Kohl's for this. Thanks for the tip and look forward to more visits to your wonderful blog!
