The Teapot & Tea Calendar for 2011

Many of us tea lovers are fans of Workman Publishing's Teapot & Tea Calendar, although the past few years I've waited too late and *almost* didn't get one! This year, I'm skipping my usual trick of waiting 'til the last minute and trying to get it on clearance, so yes, friends, I paid full price.

The new calendar is beautiful as ever, and I absolutely love the teapot featured in February, a three-tiered stacking teapot from Lefton China. Gorgeous!

I always hope May gets a "good" teapot, since that is my birth month, and even though I don't normally like this style of Japanese teapot I thought this blue one was perfectly lovely. So if you haven't gotten your teapot calendar for 2011 yet, well, don't miss out! And I hope your birth month teapot is a great one!

  1. It is a beautiful calendar. I order mine from Amazon each year - guess I should do that soon.

  2. Thanks Angela. I buy this every year (always full price) but I feel it is worth it. I hang it on my door to garage and it is actually our family calendar...granted you have to write really small....but I love to look at the tea scenes. They are beautiful....all except this year, can't remember what month, but they had a tea pot and cups decorated with fake mice. Only time in all these years I had to cover up a tea scene. Sorry, but even "fake" mice and tea things can't make me look at that. Have to put my order in now. Enjoy your day

  5. I haven't seen one yet, but have certainly heard about it. A friend, Eve Hill, that writes for Tea a Magazine has the October page with her witch teapot. Can't wait to see it.

  6. It is a beautiful calendar. I sometimes will take a page from a calendar and frame it. The tiered teapot is my favorite.
